GS1 - Relisting products into new categories Fashion, Accessories and Footwear

News, Emails and Webinars, Manual Input, Heureka XML Feed, MALL XML Feed, API

In order to make it easy for our customers to navigate through the individual Fashion sections and filter the products they are looking for using the parameters, we have decided to change the entire Fashion division on our MALL/Mimovrste website.

Our goal is that these changes will deliver a significantly better shopping experience for customers and improve the overall customer experience, improve conversion rates and increase sales in this category.

In this article you will find the procedure how to correctly relist products into new categories according to individual connections.

Export of changes to Fashion, Accessories and Footwear categories

Below you will find a downloadable file where you will find the changes and differences between the old and new categories and you can list your products accordingly.

How to work with the file?

Changes - Fashion, Accessories & Footwear

The file is divided into 6 sheets. Below you will find a description of each sheet and what it is used for.

Important!:
In order for your products to be displayed correctly on our website, it is very important to include mandatory sorting parameters and their values in the listed products, which will allow your products to be placed in the correct sections of the category.

You also need to be careful when entering values for parameters. Values must always be entered in the language of the country where you are selling, see List "All Parameters with Values"

1. Overview sheet and "Overview" signpost

The introductory sheet gives you an overview and basic description of the sheets, so you can move straight to the individual sheets.

At the same time, there is a description of the colour coding, which can be found in the sheets of the topic.

On each subsequent sheet in column A "Classification" you can choose from clothing, accessories or footwear. So you can always filter the area that interests you.

Size tables

Choosing the right size is important for every fashion customer. We have decided to make the customer's job easier and to unify the size charts into a universal one, as the specialty fashion stores have and display them always in the same place. The customer will thus be able to view the table via a link next to the size chart directly in the product details.
We believe this will improve our conversion rate and reduce the number of returns.

Below you will find a downloadable file where you will find size charts for adult and children's fashion in all countries.

Relisting products by individual connections

Below you can find information on how to relist products by connection.

You can also find out how products should look on our website and how categories and parameters work by following the links below.
Product appearance requirements and pre-launch content review process
How categories, parameters, values and category conditions work

Manual connection

For manual connection, you can browse the products in the MALL Partner Portal in the section Products. Edit the product using the "eye" icon.

In the first tab Category change the desired category to automatically add the mandatory sorting parameters.

ATTENTION!
If you change the category, the created variants will be lost for the listed products (variants will have to be created again). How to create variants can be found in the article
here.

Before saving the new settings, it is necessary to check the validity of the entered labels and action prices on the "Basic" tab. In case of entered labels or promotional prices after expiry, the edited products cannot be saved.

For information on setting up, editing products, please also see the article Instructions for Manual connection - the process of creating a new product.

Size tables insert into the long product description at the end of the text in the format specified in the file - Fashion - Size charts (e.g. for Men's suits: *Size table: men - suits*). It is important to insert these tables for each variant separately.

ATTENTION!
Please take extra care when writing the exact name of the size table. If the entry (between asterisks) is different or contains an unauthorized character (e.g. a space before or after the size table name, etc.), the reference to the size table in the long product description will not work.

Heureka XML Feed

The change of Heureka categories will be made by MALL.

Due to the different parameters of the new categories, variant products will be dropped from the website. For categories where you have these variant products included, you will need to re-pair the variant parameters including values.
For instructions on how to pair variant parameters, see here.
Only after pairing the variant parameters and values again, the individual product variants can be displayed correctly on the website.

After successful pairing of variant parameters and values, it is necessary to let the feeds be processed manually.

In case the default classification is not correct, you can move your products to another category using the function in the MALL Partner Portal. More detailed information can be found in the article Heureka XML Feed - move products.

Selected size chart insert the " element into the long description in the product feedDESCRIPTION" in the format specified in the file - Fashion - Size charts (e.g. for Men's suits: *Size table: men - suits*). It is important to insert these tables for each variant separately.
