On 9/11/2021 an email was sent about a ban on the sale of plastic products with bamboo fibres in the Czech Republic.
In view of the measures taken by the European Union, the as of 1 September 2021, plastic food contact products with bamboo fibres shall not be allowed on the Czech market (cups for hot drinks, children's dishes, jugs, etc.).
In addition to bamboo fibres, melamine-formaldehyde resin is added as a binder in plastic products, that has not been approved as a material that can be used in the manufacture of these products.
This step was taken to identify the risks that arise from the use of these products.
In particular gradual release of the dangerous toxic substances formaldehyde and melamine at temperatures above 70° and when these products are used repeatedly.
Given the above, if you still have these products listed on MALL.cz, you need to withdraw them from the offer as soon as possible.
