In this article, we will talk about how to choose the most suitable type of connection for the MALL Partner. For your activities on MALL, you can select one type of connection for updating products, prices and availability, and you can then separately select the form of connection for the actual processing of orders. 

Below you will find a brief summary of the specifics of individual forms of connection. Detailed information can be found here: Knowledge baseYouTube channel

What awaits you (for all types of connections): 

  • Choose the appropriate type of product connection 
  • Choose a suitable form of connecting orders 
  • Select the appropriate delivery options for your goods MALL Delivery / your carrier 
  • Add quality texts about the product in the language of the country where you want to sell 
  • Add quality photos in accordance with the terms of sale on MALL (white background without watermarks)  
  • Add product prices including VAT in the currency of the country where you want to sell  
  • Assign VAT rates to products according to the legislation of the country where you want to sell 

Orders (for all connection types): 

  • The type of connecting orders is not connected with the type of connecting products that you choose 
  • Manual order management is available for all connections directly in the MALL Partner portal 
  • It is possible to integrate orders via API into your system with all types of product connections 
  • An "order" XML feed is also available for all connection types, which contains all orders that are currently ready for processing. 
  • We offer the possibility of integrating a wide range of accessories for order processing, regardless of the selected type of product connection 

MALL XML feed (guarantee of the possibility of using all MALL Partner functions) 

What to prepare for: 

  • Creating a "product and availability" feed exactly according to the MALL structure with mandatory elements and in the correct order, both available under a unique URL (be careful, this is not the same feed you use for Eureka) 
  • Insert our category identifiers into the created feeds, which you will link to your own category tree on your side, including sorting parameters 
  • Pair your parameters and values on the MALL dials 
  • Ensuring time and technical capacities 

What is the benefit of this connection:

  • All data editing takes place automatically via feeds, on a regular basis (6/12/24 hours) stably even with a large number of products  
  • Availability update every 30/60 minutes according to the set feed play interval 
  • Error log offering specific error messages for each game play 
  • The XML connection offers the use of all MALL Partner functions 
  • Suitable for products with a higher number of variants 

Heureka feed (connection type only for CZ / SK) 

What to prepare for:

  • Create a "product and availability" feed exactly according to the structure of the Heureka XML feed with mandatory elements required by MALL, both available under a unique URL 
  • If you do not use the exact categories according to the Heureka.cz/.sk tree, the categories must be manually paired in the MALL Partner portal 
  • Parameters and values must always be manually paired in the MALL Partner portal for each of the categories separately 
  • Mark in the portal by import all products that do not meet the smallbox conditions:
    • Sum of all sides of the package max 175 cm 
    • One side of the package max. 100 cm 
    • Weight up to 20 kg 
  • Ensuring time and technical capacities 
  • This type of connection is not suitable for partners with a large number of categories that do not match the Heureka tree and a large number of products with variants due to the need for the above-mentioned manual data pairing 
  • For this type of connection it is not possible to scale the transport fee according to the weight of the products. The division is possible into smallbox and bigbox.

What is the benefit of this connection: 

  • All data editing takes place automatically through the feed on a regular basis (6/12/24 hours) and is stable even with a large number of products  
  • Availability update every 15/30/60 minutes according to the set interval 
  • "Feed status" tab in the MALL Partner portal, where you will see detailed information about the feed, including information about items that have not been uploaded and error messages 
  • Heureka feed generates a large part of box solutions for e-shops, while adhering to mandatory elements and data structure, implementation can be very fast and without significant costs 
  • All processes within the connection via the Heureka feed are covered by our video tutorials on YouTube (only in Czech) 

API (guarantee of the possibility of using all MALL Partner functions) 

What to prepare for: 

  • Pairing your categories to MALL categories 
  • Pairing your parameters and values on MALL dials 
  • Creating a API call structure corresponding to the MALL structure 
  • Ensuring time and technical capacities

What is the benefit of this connection: 

  • The connection is especially suitable for e-shops with a large number of 15,000+ products and an average number of orders per month of 1,000+
  • All data editing is always on your side, so you have control over your products in your system (it is not possible to edit products manually after uploading in the portal) 
  • You can update data in real time based on API call settings from your system, even with a large number of products
  • You also have real-time access to any error messages, reducing shortening and troubleshooting times 
  • The API connection offers the use of all MALL Partner functions 
  • Suitable for products with a higher number of variants 
  • Suitable for products with frequently changing availability 

Manual Input (MI) 

What to prepare for: 

  • It is necessary to create all products in the system individually (avg. 5-15 minutes / product if you have all the data) 
  • It is not suitable for managing more than 100 SKUs or products with a high number of variants, because it is necessary to make all price and availability adjustments manually in the portal 
  • It is necessary to select a suitable category for your items from our tree 

What is the benefit of this connection: 

  • Possibility of fast integration in units of hours / days (according to the number of products)

  • Low integration costs without the need for any IT intervention or development
