If you have chosen manual linking, this article will serve as a guide for you to set up your products correctly in the new design. Here you will find an explanation of each field, help on how to fill in the fields correctly and any details that are important to us.
There can be only one Admin within the access accounts to your portal.
To create products, log in to the MALL Partner Portal, for the MALL domain log in here and for Mimovrste you can log in here. Once logged in, click through to the Products tab.
This section allows you to manage your products - create, edit, copy and delete products.
Product creation
Using the "New Product" button (found on the top right), you will be presented with a form where you can enter information about your product.
Category
In order to correctly categorize your products, it is necessary to specify where your product will be displayed in this section.
After you select a category, the category will be automatically displayed in the "Basic data" section and the sorting parameter (without which the product would not appear on the website) will be added to the "Parameters" section.
More detailed information about categories, sorting parameters and their values can be found in here.
There are two ways how you can choose from open categories:
- The browser will display available categories and subcategories from which you can choose
- You can individually click through the subcategories to the final section (governed by the sorting parameters that are automatically displayed in the "Parameters" section after selection).
After selecting the final category, you will see the entire path and can click straight through to the "Basic Data" section. And you can continue to create your product.
Basic data
The "Basic" tab is divided into several cells that need to be filled in to set everything up correctly for the product.
When you save the product, any mandatory fields that are not filled in will always be displayed in red and must be completed before saving.
Product description
- Product Title (Product Title) - do not enter a tag in the title, it is automatically added to the first position of the field "Brand". We recommend writing a general product name that is easy to find (e.g. Car) + basic product features (e.g. remote control). If necessary, other specifics that characterize the product max. 300 characters. No special characters are allowed.
- Short description – brief description of the product with the maximum of 300 characters. It should be a continuous text without bullets or paragraphs. Each sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. The short product description should be shorter than the long product description. Both – short and long description – should not include any links to websites other than MALL/Mimovrste.
We recommend using keywords as a general product title (e.g. long-sleeved shirts). The product will be easier to look up.
- Long label (Description) - The long caption should be structured using bullets and paragraphs. You cannot use colored headings, text or asterisk on a non-existent link in the text and you cannot link to your site. The long caption should be structured; an unorganized block of text is unacceptable. Max. number of characters 13 000.
It is possible to insert a picture or video into a long caption.
The image can only be inserted into the caption by copying. You can also copy multiple images into the caption, but we recommend up to approximately 100 KB/image, otherwise the long caption including images may exceed 13,000 characters and the product will not be saved and displayed on our website.
The video can be added to the long caption by inserting a URL link, then the video is automatically recognized and inserted into the gallery. We recommend placing the video at the end of the long caption.
These are the basic HTML tags that can be used in a long description: <a>, <b>, <br>, <div>, <dl>, <dt>, <em>, <hr>, <i>, <img>, <li>, <ol>, <p>, <strong>, <sub>, <sup>, <table>, <tbody>, <td>, <tfoot>, <th>, <thead>, <tr>, <u>, <ul>. There's no need to use custom styles in the tags, without them the text will adapt best to our pages. If you have any tables in the description, you still need to add <table class="“tbl“">to make the table responsive.
In a long caption it is always necessary to undo the formatting by marking the whole text and using the "undo formatting" button. This button will remove the custom styles from the text and the text will be correctly transcribed to the web.
Price and sale offer
- Selling price – price including VAT. The price must not include commission.
- VAT – it is necessary to fill in the correct VAT for the product according to the given country, regardless of whether or not you are a registered VAT payer.
Labels
- In this field it is possible to add the product label such as "New", "Free Shipping" or "Sale". Each label must also be marked with a validity period, as with a sale price.
In the process of any further editing of the product, the expired label must be removed or updated. Otherwise, changes to the product will not be saved.
Labels are optional.
Product images
- In this section, all images are uploaded for the product, including images of variants.
The main image must be on a white background with no watermarks, other markings, markings or frames. It is appropriate to use more than one image, the maximum number of images is 20.
The main product image is marked with an asterisk.
The recommended resolution is 1280 x 1024 px, the maximum limit is 2000 px. The minimum image size is 100 KB and the maximum size is 2 MB.
Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF.
You can't choose the order of the images, only the main image can be specified, the others are randomly ordered.
It is not possible to insert a duplicate image (URL or content).
Energy labels
Guidelines for new energy labels
- in the partner portal in the product editor under the "Basic" tab, you need to insert one corresponding image in the "Information sheet" and "Energy label" fields
- fill in the parameter Energy category
- check that all product texts (descriptions / name) contain the correct information
Structure
- Product ID – is your internal product ID. Combinations of a maximum of 50 characters, allowed characters are: _ – 0-9 a-z A-Z (underscores, hyphens, numbers zero to nine, upper and lower case letters without accents).
Each product/variant ID must be unique. No IDs may be duplicated. - Brand (BRAND) - here you select the tag ID using the whisperer. If your brand has not yet been created on the MALL website, please send us a request for creation from the MALL Partner portal. The brand will then be created and the appropriate Brand ID will be sent to you, which you will fill in this field.
- Categories (Category ID) - here you will find the individual categories you have open. If you have products that you have nowhere to put, you can use an Excel file called. category tree or in the previous section "Categories". Here you will find our complete tree of all active categories. If you are unable to find a suitable category in our tree, please contact us via Help Centre.
- EAN - has a precisely defined shape - 13 numeric characters.
If your EAN has 14 numeric characters, enter it as 13 digits without the 0 at the beginning. If you have a shorter 8-digit EAN, add as many 0's to the beginning as are missing in the 13 characters. - Priority – Fill in the value 1 in the field. The system automatically ranks products using an algorithm that works on the basis of the number of clicks, traffic and sales of a given product.
This is an obsolete element that still needs to be filled in, but is not taken into account at all.
We are currently working to remove it. - CN (Combined Nomenclature) code corresponding to your product. These codes are crucial for customs declarations when importing or exporting goods within the EU and to/from the EU. If you're unsure about the correct code, we recommend using the official EU CN database or consulting a customs expert. The system accepts 8 numeric characters of the CN code.
Shipping and packaging
- In stock – the number of pieces in stock. In order to purchase a product, you need to have a stock availability of more than 0. If the product has "In stock = 0", the product will appear inactive online and it won’t be possible to purchase it. The number of pieces should correspond to the actual number of items in your warehouse.
- Availability – number of days (Delivery delay - in days) – represents the real time interval of delivery of the order to the end customer from the moment the order is created by the customer. The partner sets the value with the number of working days.
It is also possible to set it in delivery. If you wish to edit / display the same delivery date for all products, leave Availability for product 0 and set the delivery time only in delivery settings. For specific exceptions, you set the Availability for the appropriate number of days directly at the product. The delivery delay for a product / variant takes precedence over the delivery delay set in the delivery settings.
Product size
- Product size – smallbox/ bigboxmust be filled in. These values pair the product with carriers. It is therefore necessary to have the same values set in the delivery tab as well as for the product.
Approximate package dimensions
- This section is used to determine the dimensions of the package. These values are considered when offering the type of carrier, depending on the size of goods. The dimensions of the package must correspond with weight levels that can be set in the delivery tab.
Parameters
Each category has a certain set of parameters. Here you will find all the parameters of the category that can be filled in. The individual values are selected from the search engine offered by the portal. The system will evaluate other values as invalid.
For some categories there may also be a pre-filled sorting parameter (see the "Categories" section above), do not delete it, otherwise the system will evaluate it as an error.
If the customer uses the filters, the product without the filled parameters will be dropped from the product listing. To support sales, we recommend filling in as many parameters as possible.
Below you will find an example of how to create variants for a product (e.g. colour – here you specify more colours and check the "Variant product" box at the end of the line). How to proceed with variants is described further in this article in the section "Variants".

Variants
After filling in the variation parameters, a list of variants, which you can further edit, will show in this section.
You can open each individual variant by using the "down arrow" to fill in the missing data for that variant.
It is necessary to mark the main image of the variant using the "star" button and at the same time mark other images of the variant using the "pipe" symbol.
If any part is incorrectly filled, you will see a red error character. When you save the product successfully, the product goes through processing and will be displayed online.
Additional features in the product list
Product editing
The product detail can be edited by clicking on the "eye" icon in the product list.
The product list also offers quick editing of price and availability for the product itself or individual product variants.
Copying a product
Once you created a product, it can be copied to create a new product, see further instructions here.
Deleting a product
The product can be removed by clicking on the "trash can" icon. The product will be unavailable for sale on the website in about 10 minutes.
Product detail
You can see what the product looks like on the web by clicking on the icon with the picture of the "square". To view the product you need to be logged in with your Sandbox account, you can find it in the MALL/Mimovrste partner portal in the Partner - Sandbox accounts section.
